The State of Healthcare

This is a virtual event with the ACHE SouthEast Texas Chapter (Houston, Austin, Galveston, and Beaumont). It will compare and contrast how the two regions respond to the pandemic.

Panel Discussion Ticket: Attendees will gain an understanding of the challenges different communities in different parts of
the country face in fighting the pandemic. The importance of public health; public-private and public health/care provider collaborations; strategies to use in addressing health inequities; how politics impacts how public health is approached.

Panel Discussion + Guided Small Group Discussion Ticket: After the panel discussion, there will be a guided small group discussion/networking for 60 min. The small group discussions will include participants from Texas and California. The discussion topic is based on the attendees’; thoughts regarding what communities could or should be doing about the panel discussion issues. (Group size 10-12).
